Waste, waste everywhere, What’s to be done?
20 November 2018

Last Wednesday, Year 10 visited the Parque Tecnológico de Valdemingómez accompanied by their teachers Silvia Blanco and Teresa Negrete. Although a bit smelly at times -as we learnt with our noses that organic fermentation produces gases -, the students could also learnt  how the different areas transform the 3600 tons of rubbish, which arrive daily from Madrid capital city, into clean energy after the costly process of separating organic and inorganic waste.

If only we could help to separate and recycle better, our future won’t look so grim! And we are confident that year 10 will get hands on the job soon!
